What we love: Like all Ma Petite Fabrique patterns, the possibility of creating multiple projects!

Who hasn't dreamed of a little mid-season jacket, simple and quick to sew, and right on trend? Emile (EM ilie/céc ILE ), the new pattern designed with E_mily_Couture, meets these specifications in every way. This fitted jacket will be available in short or long versions, with pointed collar, round collar, set-in collar or even without a collar, and with 2 types of pockets (patch or simply small flaps). For an even more couture effect, it can also be fitted with small ruffles and the sleeves can be removed. In terms of finishing, you will have the choice between mounting a lining or gluing your seam allowances. You will have understood: it's up to you to design YOUR Emile jacket!

  • Fabric footage in 140 cm width: see above
  • If piping: 10 m of bias binding in a color matching your main fabric, 1 cm wide when folded in 4
  • 5 buttons or snap fasteners: They should match your main fabric and be approximately 2 cm in diameter for the buttons and approximately 1.5 cm in diameter for the snap fasteners
  • Shoulder pads (only if jacket is lined): 13mm thick
  • Iron-on: 0.7 m

Tweed, jacquard, wool, boiled wool, denim, thick cotton, linen or even quilted.

The Emile jacket can be lined or unlined. For the lining, we recommend cotton or viscose, with an anti-static material for the sleeves (so the jacket "glides" when you put it on).
