Atelier VingtSept, a story woven in France

Today, people no longer want to buy from the other side of the world.
We want to support French businesses , preserve our expertise and believe in a local, beautiful and sustainable product.
It is from this desire that Atelier VingtSept was born, a French fabric brand designed to inspire, create and transmit.

An adventure that began at twenty-seven years old

The name? You chose it with us, on Instagram (thank you all!).
Twenty-seven was the age of a crazy desire to create differently.
A workshop is also the place where everything comes to life: our exclusive fabrics , our limited edition collections , our orders prepared by hand with care each week.

Atelier VingtSept is also a family story.
The adventure began thanks to my family ties with a printer in the Rhône , in the heart of a historic textile region.
This proximity instilled in me a taste for beautiful materials and well-made work, but also an awareness of the challenges these workshops face today.
It is this close connection that still motivates me: helping to preserve French know-how and giving new life to the fabric produced here , in the Rhône and by other French manufacturers.

Every month, on the 7th , our new capsules are launched: designer fabrics created in small series, made in France or Europe, for unique projects.
These collections are available on our online store and from lovely partner haberdasheries .

Create less, but better

At Atelier VingtSept, we believe in wardrobes that are built up slowly,
to sewing as a gesture of love and freedom.
Our fabrics are designed to last and inspire: to sew, to wear, and to reuse .

We design responsible collections in partnership with local French and European textile manufacturers , combining style and ethical practices. We also produce on demand for our haberdashery partners. The aim is to produce as closely as possible to customer needs and desires, avoiding overproduction at all costs.

A couture concept store full of beautiful discoveries

Atelier Vingt-Sept is more than just a fabric brand:
It's a couture concept store where you can find everything to create a complete garment.
Exclusive fabrics , patterns from French designers like Cha'Coud, Ma Petite Fabrique, Maëli , and the associated haberdashery : threads, buttons, ribbons, everything is there.
Recently, we have added our soft and natural wools to inspire knitters as well, while keeping our French heart.

A committed and joyful brand

Because every action counts, our team is evolving its operations:

  1. We now ship 1 to 2 times per week to limit the impact of transport.

  2. Our packaging is reusable or compostable , from the string to the envelope or the bag.

  3. And since our beginnings, all our printing is done in France , in the Rhône-Alpes region, and our viscose fabrics are made in Portugal.

This is our way of participating, on our scale, in a more respectful fashion industry.
Because a happy fabric is a fabric that lives in your hands—much more than a roll waiting patiently on a shelf. (Yes, a bit like that last kernel of corn in the commercial crying in the can!)

And since 2025, I have had the chance to be joined by Marion , a friend who is a seamstress with incredible talent.
Together, we imagine, we sew, we prepare your orders and we always dream a little bigger.
A truly complementary duo to continue growing Atelier VingtSept with the same heart.
