PDF Pattern - Berthe Blouse or Dress - Atelier Bernie
What we love: The neckline closed with a pretty keyhole for an ultra-feminine look.
The Berthe blouse pays homage to Berthe Morisot, doyenne of the Impressionist movement. She developed alongside Monet, Degas, Renoir, and other painters of the movement who together formed its founders. Avant-garde and breaking with the academic system, she was a rebel who made her mark on history with her landscapes of Normandy, her floral gardens, and her pastel colors.
It is a pattern for a loose-fitting blouse with raglan sleeves that is gathered at the collar. The latter is a stand-up collar and closes with a button and a loop. The neckline is finished with a pretty keyhole that can be placed at the front or back.
Its sleeves are puffy and gathered by a cuff that also closes with three buttons and three loops.
The volume of the sleeves requires cutting them in two pieces for sizes 44 to 50 if you have a fabric 140cm wide. If your fabric is 150cm wide, you will not need to make this modification.
It is entirely sewn with French seams and does not require the use of an overlocker.
