What we love: The ruffle detail on the bottom, which makes all the difference.
With the option to add or remove the frills in the front, the frills in the back and the frill overskirt, the Marius shorts, with their mid-rise waist, are available in 8 versions. Added to this, is the option to remove the overskirt to make them classic shorts! And even to make a casual version, which can go, depending on the fabric used, from sportswear to pajama bottoms. You can also play with the length of the shorts if the frills are removed. So, Marius is not just a pair of shorts, but the possibility of making no less than 12 different garments with the same pattern!
For summer, our cotton-linen fabrics are perfect for this project if you're looking for a more stable finish. Viscose fabrics are also available for a more flexible version. For winter, we recommend our beautiful jacquards.

- Version with frills in front and back but without overskirt: 0.90 m of fabric in 140 cm width
- Version without frills front + back + overskirt: 1.10m of fabric in 140cm width
- Version with frills front + back + overskirt: 1.35m of fabric in 140cm width
For the basic version: 1 invisible zipper 18 cm long in a color coordinated with your fabric // 20 cm of iron-on adhesive // 90 cm of bias tape 4 cm wide to match the fabric (optional)
For the casual version: 3 cm wide elastic, the length of your waist.
