Bridal outfit couture inspiration with trousers - Angèle, the bride

Inspiration couture tenue de mariée avec pantalon - Angèle, la mariée

We love Angèle's look, a little bit modern with the trousers and a little bit delicate with the little lace top.

She boldly chose the following outfit:

  • A pair of trousers/skirts, the Casual Poplin and Dressy Satin Lining model
  • A short, three-quarter-sleeved lace top, for which she created the pattern.

The result is stunning, a feminine ensemble that suits her perfectly.

Advice from bride Angèle:

"Take your time, make several muslins, and don't give up until you find the perfect fabric for your project. Don't underestimate the importance of this outfit because the memory will last a lifetime. At the same time, don't stress yourself out either! The hardest part is finding the shape that suits you AND the fabric that will flatter it. Perhaps trying things on in a store to visualize the finished garment can help. Sometimes we have preconceived ideas about what would or wouldn't suit us, and we're surprised by the result."

After drawing inspiration from everywhere, you need to reset, to forget in order to create something new. I don't really know how to explain it, but if you try too hard to copy a model, you risk being disappointed. You have to manage to retain a vague, somewhat blurry image of what you like in others in order to create something original yourself.

But that's just my feeling^^"

A huge thank you to Angèle (@angele.ottavi) for sharing her wedding day with one of our fabrics.

At Atelier 27, this is surely what makes our wedding collection so unique and precious: accompanying you on one of the most beautiful days of your life is a true source of pride.

And you, inspired for your own outfit?
